Radford University's Environmental Geosciences Program makes available US Geological Survey 7.5' topographic sheets in digital format as a courtesy to the community. Each sheet is a scanned copy of a USGS topographic sheet and includes a reference file that allows it to be used by software that supports the USGS Digital Raster Graphics (DRG) standard. Coverage will be complete for Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Virginia

West Virginia

Maryland

District of Columbia

Some DRGs from the states surrounding the ones listed above will also be made available. These DRGs are generally just the ones that fall partially within one of the states above but are classified by the USGS as being within another state. States with this partial coverage are: Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Delaware and North Carolina.

For some information about DRGs, see our FAQ.

Disclaimer: The Environmental Geosciences' Program at Radford University make these files available "as is." Neither the department nor the university assume any legal obligation as to the accuracy of the maps.
